Mr. Beave   Erin is currently in his eighth year as the Director of Bands at Hastings High School. Erin holds degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Kansas State University, and is a past board member of the Nebraska State Bandmasters Association. He has previously taught in the McCook Public Schools and the Sutton Public Schools. He held a Graduate Teaching Assistantship with Kansas State University while earning his Master of Music degree. Erin maintains an active schedule as a performer on his trumpet. He is a member of the Cathedral Brass Quintet, currently plays 1st Trumpet in the 43rd Army Band in Lincoln, NE, is a member of the Kearney Symphony Orchestra, and is a former principal trumpet in the Hastings Symphony Orchestra. Erin has also appeared as a soloist for several of those groups. Erin is active around the region as a clinician and adjudicator and is a member of the National Band Association, the Nebraska Music Educators Association, the Music Educators National Conference, and the International Trumpet Guild. | |
